DCM Answers on a Postcard

This week's challenge at the Daring Cardmakers was to create a postcard and actually post it, too! Again, I found this rather, well - challenging! I was really worried about putting anything on that might get damaged in the post. So I kept it all very simple and very flat. I didn't seem to be able to avoid using inky stuff, however, so I'm really hoping it won't get exposed to rain... Ahhh, one can but dream! Anyway, here it is:

I used varoius scraps of paper for the inked squares border, a Sizzix cut daisy and MM magnetic stamps for the greeting - which says "Greetings from Scotland" in German, and I'm going to post this to my parents. We talk on the phone so much, that I hardly ever send them any letters or cards now, so I thought this would be a nice thing to do. Have to say though, that I'll probably end up cheating and pop this card in an envelope after all... Just for the card's safety...

Well, I'm just about to pop into town to see what the local craft shop has to offer, I'm feeling the need... Having a lazy weekend and enjoying it :) Thanks for stopping by!
