A lot of you probably know there's a new challenge blog out there called Tilda and Friends ATC Challenges, and it does exactly what it says in the title: they post weekly challenges to make ATC's with Tilda stamps. For their first challenge, and to celebrate the new blog, the theme is "Sparkle". Well, I really like my Tildas (limited though they might be at the moment), and I'd like another go at making ATC's, too, so this blog seems ideal. The only problem I had was that Tildas can be quite large, and that doesn't leave much space for anything else on the ATC... Anyway, here is my effort:
I have to admit, I feel like a bit of a cheat, because all I did was stamp, colour, add glitter to wings, ink round the edges and mount the whole thing at a jaunty angle. But I do really like the simplicity of it, and I love the colours. I tried adding stuff, but it never looked right, and when I made this ATC, which is attempt #2, I came back to exactly the same colours and look as the first time, just without the extra bits. So there you go.
Happy first challenge, Tilda and Friends, hope there'll be many more!
Great ATC, doesn't Tilda look cute. I love how you've coloured her in.
ReplyDeleteThanks for vising my blog :)
Thanks so much for your good wishes Anne! What a beautiful Tilda you have created - not cheating at all with such lovely colouring. I know what you are saying about their size - I think shrink plastic will have to play a part in some future ones! Lol Lynn x
ReplyDeleteFabulous ATC Anne, I love this Tilda, not seen her before she looks so cute. Thanks for joining in the challenge
ReplyDeleteWell Anne, when you colour her as beautifully as this you don't need anything else, this is so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh.. love this ATC and like you think sometimes simplicity is best :)
