Cute and Pink

Not been the world's most prolific blogger lately, haven't really had much energy to bend my brain to the various challenges out there. Youngest daughter has been a little poorly on and off, enough to have to keep her home from nursery for a couple of days, and I've been feeling kind of run down, sniffling and tired as well. Plus I'm desperately trying to get all our stuff organised for next Friday, when we will be off to the US for our two weeks Easter break! Can't wait!!! We're away to see two sets of friends, one of whom I've not seen for 15 years, so that will be nice. Lots of catching up to do. Hope the weather will be kind to us, it has been snowing there very heavily very recently...

So, here are my efforts for today. Number one is an ATC for Tilda and Friends, and it was to feature the colour pink.

Well, it's pink alright! Tilda has been coloured with watercolour pencils, background paper is Doodlebug and I've added some Primas and some Papermania flower brads, plus a little MM clip. Also inked around the card for good measure.

Number two is for the new challenge blog Cute Card Thursday, where the theme was new beginnings and firsts. Seeing my stamp collection is still very limited and I just couldn't make the ones I have work for this challenge, I got out my teddy die and made a card for a baby girl. I do think this teddy is rather cute :)

I've used gingham paper of unknown origin, ribbon from stash, Sizzix and Sizzlits die cuts (flower, circle, teddy), a Doodlebug button, some Doodlebug paper frill, computer-printed sentiment and lots of doodling and inking around the edges.
